Artist Statement
For many years my work has been influenced by various European pottery traditions, the hallmarks of which are elaborate form, a profusion of embellishment and decoration, a casualness in the making and the use of earthenware clays and low-fire glazes.
I intend my pots to be used in the presentation and containment of food, and to play a role in one of the most enjoyable of earthly delights…..a good meal among friends.
