Artist Statement

“My work is layered with streams of consciousness, Freudian dreams and passionate desires.  Past, present and future dance to times rhythmic harmony of what has been created in history and the iconic imagery that intertwines my life with that of mystery.  A continued dialogue between the ego, characterized as persona and the divine creator, God.  Seeking oneness, as human being with soul connection.  A guided script of mystical awakening.

Through the asking my transcendental will to evoke spirit explodes with jubilant color and manifested openness.  The flow of unabashed resistance allows a subconscious response on the gut level driven by instinct and faith.  The fusion of complacency and verve transcends the moment.  What lies on the surface today is suspended in time celebrated as a reminder of life’s grandeur and the lessons of day to day existence.  Lessons that read like poetry, that remind me to seek my inner truth when modern day information spams like wildfire. 

Life is layered with emotional and physical relationships.  Time, space, realities and distant dreams sparking visions of what will someday be history.  Other thoughts or desires burn in time as atmospheric heat eludes its existence.  Concrete evidence of the here and now launch new meaning to the purpose and the inhabitancy of this life.  My work is a constant journey into myself and the world around me.  Ultimately it is the dance with the creator, the spiritual spiral of emotion, the breath of the eternal rhythm and the universal heartbeat of expansion.”
